The existing Woodland Elementary School opened in 1977 and faced a severe overcrowding and lack of suitable space to carry out the educational program of the Milford Public Schools District. In early 2014, the Town of Milford and the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) approved a $60.9 million project which resulted in the construction of a new 132,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art school for grades 3-5. Working closely with the project team, throughout each phase of the new construction, CES provided complete MEP/ FP systems commissioning services.
