CES provided MEP engineering design services for a $75 million upgrade to the existing 1953 building, including renovations and a new addition. Included as part of this project is a 18,950 sq.ft. full renovate as new for laboratories and prep rooms including: Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Integrated Science programs.

The project scope included complete removal and replacement of all building systems as part of the State of Connecticut Renovation Status program. The new systems include condensing boilers, roof mounted air handlers serving variable air volume boxes  to provide individual room/space climate control.  The new direct digital control system has the capability to be monitored and controlled by both on-site and off-site Town staff. Lighting throughout the school is now all 100% LED with a high level of control in all spaces. The auditorium was complete renovated with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. The competition pool area also received all new lighting and HVAC systems.
