Located in the North End section of Hartford, this 40-year-old building  underwent an extreme makeover. The school was built in 1974, and the 370,000 sf existing building was originally designed for 2,000 students. Enrollment has taken a drastic drop, as a result, the building was reduced in size by 100,000 sf during the renovation.

The renovation created a consolidated space for three of the City’s magnet schools including Journalism and Media Academy, Kinsella Magnet High School, and High School Inc., which focuses on business and finance.
