CES was selected by the Town of Farmington to oversee the design and implementation of energy and water-saving measures at schools and municipal buildings throughout the town.

For this project, CES served as a third-party owner’s representative for Phase III of the town’s performance contracting project with Ameresco Inc., an energy efficiency and renewable energy company headquartered in Framingham, Mass.

The 19 energy conservation projects, include the addition of a new heating and cooling system at town hall, boiler replacement at Farmington High School, town-wide weatherization improvements; new cooling and air-handling units at the police station; and the upgrade and replacement of approximately 7,164 existing lighting fixtures; and replacement or repairs to steam traps at Farmington High School, Noah Wallace Elementary School and Union Elementary School.
