Part of the Sisters of Providence Health System, Mercy Medical Center is a general medical and surgical hospital with 300+ beds providing outpatient services in the Greater Springfield and Pioneer Valley region. In order to increase efficiency, Mercy Medical Center decided to consolidate its cancer care programs in one space, requiring a 30,800 sq. ft. expansion to the hospital.

This new two-story renovations and expansion includes infusion, treatment, and support services, as well as a USP 800 pharmacy clean room. The new Medical Oncology Treatment space includes 32 comfortable, spacious infusion bays and two private rooms as well as accommodations for supporting family and friends. The Oncology Clinic now has 12 calming exam rooms and support space for physician-led collaborative treatment teams.

Seeking LEED Silver Certification, CES designed all new, high efficiency MEP systems and substantial site MEP relocation for the hospital expansion.
