CES provided its full suite of MEP services for a new branch office building for Easthampton Savings Bank. The project included a drive-up window, banking office space and a teller line.

The MEP system design not only had to be energy efficient, but had to be concealed in a way to help retain a colonial building look to keep with the historical nature of the town.

Some of the energy efficient features included capturing the heating and cooling properties of the exhaust air via an energy recovery ventilator and LED lamp sources for exterior lighting fixtures. The project also included a computer server room complete with uninterruptible power supplies, equipment racks and ductless split cooling system for year round conditioning of the space. Another very important feature is the tight, well insulated building envelope of this bank. The envelope combined with an 80% efficient furnace system has saved this branch nearly 40% on their gas bills.
