CES Consulting Engineers

CES, Consulting Engineers, CT, MA, NY, FL.

For over 20 years, CES has been providing exceptional MEP engineering services for design, energy assessments, commissioning, and construction administration projects.

The CES staff of over 95 employees specialize in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection services for analysis, design, and construction administration throughout the United States. As a medium sized firm, CES is divided into manageable teams consisting of 5 to 8 engineers. Each team is a well-rounded, experienced group of engineers representing each discipline, overseen by a project manager and a firm principal. This cohesive team approach allows CES to bring depth, personalized service and a collaborative atmosphere to each project. Working as a team allows there to be a comfortable, open line of communication between all design team members which is fundamental to ensuring a project is completed on schedule and within budget. As part of our commitment to sustainable design and energy saving practices, CES is a certified LEED™ consultant with Certified Energy Managers, Certified Geothermal Designers, Certified PV Designers and Certified Commissioning Professionals all on staff. Combined with our in-house Construction Administration and Commissioning team, CES is able to provide our clients with complete quality control on new and existing building systems.

Community

We take pride in where we live, work, and play. CES enjoys giving back to the community we call home, taking time to help others, and providing opportunities and educating the next generations.

Live

CES each year participates in the Salvation Army’s Architects/ Engineers Can Challenge. Since CES started participating in 2000, the firm has donated nearly 150,000 food items to support local food pantries.

CES also is proud to sponsor amazing organizations such as the LUPUS foundation of Connecticut, the Middletown Police Department, and organizations our employees and their families are involved in such as sport teams, girl/boy scout troops, and charity walks.

Learn

Each summer, CES gladly and eagerly employs college students through internships. We understand and appreciate the hard work and dedication it takes to graduate with that engineering degree! We strive to educate and mentor each student through hands-on design and field experience with our Senior level staff, giving them a well-rounded understanding of what we do as design engineers and sending them off to their next semesters with more tools and excitement to help them earn their degrees.

Every October since 2006, CES has held a charity golf tournament, inviting our clients, vendors, and friends to join us for a fun day of golf, food, and prizes. Up until 2009, CES picked a local charity to donate our proceeds to. After the passing of George V. Keithan, Sr. (Father to George V. Keithan Jr, CEO of CES) CES created a scholarship fund in his honor. Each year, all proceeds from our golf tournament go into the scholarship fund and through an application processes, students from Xavier High School and Mercy High School who wish to pursue engineering degrees are awarded scholarships. To date, CES has provided scholarships to over a dozen students totalling over $70,000.

Play

During the summer months, CES participates in the AEC Industry Softball league. Our team gets together every Thursday night and participates in lighthearted, fun, softball against our clients and competitors.

CES also holds impromptu employee organized activities that have included Paint Nites, meeting up for some trampoline fun at one of the local indoor trampoline parks, motorcycle rides, ski trips, fishing trips, bar crawl for charity, and a company-wide scavenger hunt.

You need to love where you work and love what you do to perform at your best so we encourage everyone to work hard and have fun!
